Running toward healthcare's hardest data problems since 2016.
We build enduring, market-ready solutions for healthcare's toughest data challenges-empowering health plans, government agencies, and healthcare enterprises to streamline operations, improve care access, and enhance compliance. From modernizing provider directories to tackling the opioid crisis, our technology helps organizations turn complex data into meaningful action. At Leap Orbit, we don't just write software. We solve problems that matter.
Our Vision
To reach a future where shared health data is made useful for every person in the US.
We believe real innovation happens when you solve real-world problems.
In 2016, after years of working together in healthcare technology, Mrinal Bhasker and David Finney found themselves at a crossroads. Mrinal had just sold his company, and David had returned from the Peace Corps in Africa. Both were consulting at CRISP, Maryland's health information exchange, when they started asking themselves:
What kind of company would we want to build? What problems would we want to tackle? How could we do it all in a way that felt meaningful?
Their answer wasn't just another tech startup—it was an innovation engine, one that would stay grounded in the needs of real people. Instead of chasing venture capital and building in a vacuum, they would work directly with healthcare organizations, using their toughest challenges as inspiration for new solutions.
Our Leadership Team
Our philosophy is simple—hire a team of diverse, passionate people and foster a culture that empowers them to do their best work.
